Venture 10 Studio Group, in collaboration with Wright Productions and Crackle, a division of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, has announced the much-anticipated second season of their hit reality series, Follow Me. The new season is set to premiere exclusively on the free streaming service Crackle on June 13. The series, sponsored by Mars Wrigley, will offer a deeper look into the demanding world of social media influencers.
Hosted by the renowned Bethany Mota, Follow Me showcases the journey of aspiring influencers from various domains, including fashion, comedy, beauty, cosplay, skateboarding, and music. Contestants will engage in business-themed challenges designed to test their creativity and strategic skills in the “creator’s studio.” This season, popular influencers Kika Kim, Jordyn Jones, and Jojo Sim will join as guest judges, providing valuable insights and feedback to the contestants. Each episode will see one contestant eliminated, leading to a showdown where the winner will take home a $50,000 prize.
The second season promises heightened excitement as contestants create content inspired by Mars Wrigley’s iconic brands like M&M’S®, SKITTLES®, SNICKERS®, and HUBBA BUBBA®, along with other esteemed partners such as Valley Rays and Versus Games. Produced by Venture 10 Studio Group and Wright Productions, the series aims to surpass the success of its first season, which garnered over 700 million impressions and captivated millions of viewers aged 18-34.
Rick De Oliveira, Executive Producer and renowned for his work on reality hits like The Challenge and Love and Hip-Hop Miami, expressed his enthusiasm for the new season. “We’re taking Follow Me to new heights in Season Two,” he said. “As we continue to push boundaries and create compelling content, we’re thrilled to have Mars back as our main branded partner.”
In addition to Mota and De Oliveira, the series is executive produced by Chance Wright, John Stevens, Jason Newman, Derek Daugherty, and Zach Kozek. The first season, which premiered in May 2023, reached over 290 million homes globally through platforms like Amazon Freevee, Roku, Tubi, and Samsung+.
Follow Me Season 2 will also be available on the CW App in July. Crackle can be accessed on various devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire, Vizio, Samsung, and Android TVs, as well as on the Crackle YouTube channel.
