Gatsby-Themed Party Raises Funds for Cancer Charity
Long Island’s exclusive Golf Classic weekend returned this summer with another long list of celebrities and athletes showing up. Mr. Michael Mak, President and Founder of Celebrity Sports Entertainment, proudly presented the 1-800-LIQUORS Celebrity Golf Classic at The Oheka Castle on Long Island in New York. The event was held Sunday, July 30th and Monday, July 31st. CSE’s jam-packed weekend revolved around a celebrity golf tournament benefiting their cause
D-Up-On-Cancer. The weekend offered ticket holders and guests access to CSE’s live performances and special guest DJs, as well as access to the Casino Room, fireworks show, open bar, dinner gala, auction/raffle and entry pass to the Oheka Castle grounds. Pop-up shops, a red carpet step and repeat, and a cigar lounge were available for attendees, creating a lavish Great Gatsby vibe. Athletes and celebrity attendees included Tiffany Haddish, CC Sabathia, Erin Cahill, Amanda Saccomanno, KOOL & The Gang, Michael Blackson, Derek Fay, Plaxico Burress, The Money Team, Chase Dillion, and more.
It was an unforgettable night at the Great Gatsby Affair. The lavish decorations, live music, and dancing transported guests back to the Roaring Twenties from the moment they arrived.
It was held at Oheka Castle, one of the nation’s most popular opulent venues, a stunning 19th-century mansion. The castle was decorated to perfection, with chandeliers sparkling, flowers in bloom, and Gatsby-inspired costumes everywhere you looked.
The music was provided by a live band that played all the hits from the 1920s. Guests danced the night away, and there was even a black jack tournament with a $10,000 prize pool.
The food was also top-notch. There was a buffet with all the classic Gatsby-era dishes, such as caviar, lobster, and filet mignon. There was also a chocolate fountain and a candy bar, so guests could indulge their sweet tooth.
Party goers had a great time, and the party was a huge success. The event raised money for the non-profit organization D-Up-On-Cancer, which assists cancer patients and their families with financial assistance.
