A 12-year-old drummer & musician talks about playing arenas with the Foo Fighters & Lenny Kravitz, and more
Allison Hagendorf, a music journalist, media personality, and influencer, has released an extensive interview with 12-year old multi-instrumentalist and drumming sensation Nandi Bushell to cap off her celebration of Women’s History Month. While drumming with Dave Grohl of The Foo Fighters, the British phenom first gained attention as a multi-instrumental sensation and social media personality.
She discusses her practice routine, playing big arenas with the Foo Fighters and Lenny Kravitz, upcoming solo music, and inspiring a new generation of girls.
As part of a collaboration between Studio71 and The Allison Hagendorf Show, Bushell is among a number of trailblazing women who will be interviewed. “The Queen of Rock n’ Roll,” Joan Jett, kicked off Hagendorf’s weekly, celebrity-interview video podcast.
The party continued with nine-time Grammy-winning artist, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee, Sheryl Crow, award-winning musician and Gen Z icon, Willow; motivational fitness guru, TV personality, and entrepreneur, Jillian Michaels. Weekly episodes of The Allison Hagendorf Show drop every Friday at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT, wherever listeners enjoy podcasts, with the videocast on YouTube and Instagram.
“As a weekly celebration of the music and culture that inspires, entertains, and unites all of us, it’s meaningful to shine a light on groundbreaking female musicians that are shaping music history, while making timeless music,” said Hagendorf. “It’s such an honor to talk to these inspiring women, and share their stories with their fans.”
