Spectrum is giving TV and Internet customers even more control over how they stream with the rollout of new digital self-service features that make upgrading to ad-free streaming or adding apps easier than ever.

With Seamless Entertainment, Spectrum combines live TV with today’s most popular streaming services at no extra cost, all accessible on the Xumo Stream Box. Now, TV Select customers who already receive ad-supported streaming apps—including AMC+ with Ads, Disney+ Basic, HBO Max Basic With Ads, Paramount+ Essential, ViX Premium With Ads, and Peacock Premium with Ads—can upgrade to commercial-free versions by paying only the retail price difference, typically between $3 and $10 per month per app.

Internet-only customers can now enjoy a first-of-its-kind digital a la carte option, adding individual streaming services directly to their Spectrum plan through either the My Spectrum App or Spectrum.net.

How to Upgrade or Add Streaming Apps
  • My Spectrum App: Available for free on iOS and Android, the app allows customers to click “Manage TV/Streaming” to review upgrade options, billing preferences, and payment methods.
  • Spectrum.net: Customers can log in, navigate to “Services” > “TV/Streaming”, select their desired apps, and follow simple prompts to complete their upgrade or addition.

In the coming months, Spectrum will expand its Seamless Entertainment library to include Hulu (With Ads), ESPN’s new streaming service, BET+ Essential, and discovery+—all at no additional cost for eligible customers.
