LeBron James has never been just about basketball—he’s been about legacy, access, and building pathways. That’s exactly what this new collaboration between UNINTERRUPTED, the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), and global hiring platform Indeed is all about: opening doors based on skills, not just credentials.

The national campaign kicks off with a poignant commercial narrated by Ernie Johnson Jr., imagining a world where even LeBron’s undeniable skills went unrecognized. It’s a sharp reminder that millions of people face that reality every day in the job market.

“In the work my Foundation does to support families with resources like education and job training, we’ve seen how people can thrive when they’re given an opportunity,” LeBron said. “This campaign with UNINTERRUPTED and Indeed will hopefully open more doors for people to showcase their skills and experience, which is incredibly valuable.”

The centerpiece of the initiative is The Main Thing, a four-part digital series premiering October 1 on UNINTERRUPTED’s YouTube channel. LeBron steps into the host chair alongside a lineup of cultural icons—Tony Hawk, Teyana Taylor, Marques Brownlee (MKBHD), and Melody Ehsani—to talk about the grind, the lessons, and the creativity that make real careers happen. These aren’t your typical résumés—they’re life’s blueprints, built through sweat, setbacks, and determination.

James Whitemore, CMO of Indeed, put it simply: “We believe people should be hired for what they can do, not just their credentials.”

Beyond the series, the partnership goes deeper: integrating Indeed’s career tools into LJFF programs, launching a new online Job Seeker Academy this October, and hosting an in-person job event at House Three Thirty in Akron, Ohio, with training and workshops.

This campaign isn’t just a commercial play—it’s a cultural statement. It’s about rewriting how we define opportunity, giving folks from all walks of life a fair shot. And in true LeBron fashion, it’s about more than him—it’s about the community, the movement, and the doors left open for the next generation.
