As the holiday season approaches, millions of families across the United States are working harder than ever to keep food on the table. With SNAP disruptions, missed paychecks caused by the government shutdown, and the highest food insecurity levels seen in a decade, many households are facing unprecedented challenges.
But there is hope — and it’s coming from communities, caring individuals, and national partners joining forces with Feeding America to make sure no one is left behind during the holidays.
This season, several Feeding America partners — including Amazon Fresh, Carhartt & Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, Crate & Barrel Holdings, Food Lion, Fresh Thyme Market, Maverik, Walmart, and Wawa — are stepping up in major ways to help neighbors facing hunger enjoy the same warmth, comfort, and tradition we all cherish during the holidays.
“People experiencing hunger want the same thing we all want for ourselves during the holidays — the opportunity to gather with family and celebrate our traditions,” said Casey Marsh, chief development officer at Feeding America. “As more people turn to food banks for support this year, we’re grateful for our partners and supporters whose generosity and commitment help ensure everyone can feel the same peace of mind we all want this holiday season.”
How National Partners Are Supporting Families This Season

From Nov. 1 – Dec. 31, Amazon Fresh will donate $0.10 from every purchase of Amazon Grocery, Amazon Fresh, Aplenty, Amazon Saver, or 365 by Whole Foods Market branded products. This applies to online purchases and in-store purchases at Amazon Fresh stores across 18 states, including New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois, Texas, North Carolina, and more.
Carhartt & Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation
Carhartt and Metallica’s foundation are teaming up for the “Making the Holidays Possible” campaign. Together, they will donate a powerful $500,000 to Feeding America, honoring farmers nationwide who make holiday meals possible.
