With the opening of MARLI’s new 2,418-square-foot flagship at 785 Madison Avenue, she has created a space that feels less like a jewelry store and more like a beautifully choreographed love letter to New York City itself.
Where Art Deco Meets Modern Ambition
The boutique’s design draws heavily from the glamour and geometry of Art Deco, a natural extension of MARLI’s jewelry collections, particularly the beloved Cleo collection. Architectural lines, soaring proportions, reflective surfaces, and luxurious materials create an environment that feels simultaneously timeless and unmistakably contemporary.
Maral partnered with renowned architectural firm Aranda\Lasch to bring the vision to life. The firm has become closely associated with MARLI’s global retail identity, having previously designed boutiques in Geneva, Dubai, Riyadh, London, and New York’s Hudson Yards.
The result is striking. Indiana limestone appears throughout the flagship, connecting the boutique to some of New York City’s most celebrated landmarks, including Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and New York Public Library. Meanwhile, strategic accents of MARLI’s signature teal inject energy into the sophisticated palette, creating visual moments that feel fresh and unmistakably modern.
Jewelry Designed for Self-Expression
Throughout the boutique, guests can explore MARLI’s celebrated collections, including Cleo, Avenues, Tip-Top, and EMPIRE, alongside the brand’s recently launched luxury timepieces.
The collections reflect Artinian’s design philosophy: jewelry should not simply adorn the wearer. It should amplify personality.
That philosophy is evident everywhere inside the flagship. Pieces are presented almost as wearable architecture, balancing elegance with boldness and refinement with confidence. The Reinvention of the Luxury Lounge

At the center stands a custom handcrafted table created by Maral Artinian in collaboration with New York designer Djivan Schapira. Inspired by their shared Armenian heritage, the piece features shifting shades of blue that respond to changing light and is crowned by a striking gold pyramid centerpiece.
It serves as both a functional gathering place and a work of art.
